Welcome
Buckton is a little known migrant hotspot on Flamborough Head, East Yorkshire, its my coastal local patch and ringing site. Recent highlights include Black-throated Thrush, Isabelline Shrike, Brown Flycatcher and Little Bunting.
Away from Buckton, I live in Bedfordshire and watch Broom and Willington Gravel Pits.
Recent foreign travels have included Madeira, Extremadura, Scandinavia, Mongolia, New Jersey, Florida, Alabama, Thailand.
You can click all the images on this site to see them at their original size.
I am a 38 year old 'northerner'originally from Sheffield and a mad keen birder, ringer and Sheffield Wednesday fan.
Favourite saying "Its going east !"
